Dr G. Cansu Öztürk
Dr G. Cansu Öztürk is the owner and Clinical Director of GC Clinic. She personally carries out the clinic’s aesthetic dentistry — porcelain veneers, cosmetic bonding and smile design — as well as root canal treatment, and every treatment plan is her responsibility.
Born in İzmir in 1988, she graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Ege University in 2010, writing her final thesis on aesthetic dentistry. Between 2012 and 2016 she completed her specialist training in the Department of Endodontics at Marmara University, under the mentorship of our founder, Prof. Dr. Semih Özbayrak. From 2016 to 2019 she was Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Endodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry of Yeni Yüzyıl University. She has attended the aesthetic dentistry courses of EDAD, the Turkish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry.
A member of the Turkish Endodontic Society, the European Society of Endodontology and the American Association of Endodontists, she has presented her research on stem cells and probiotics in dentistry at national and international congresses.

Zerrin Engin Bakkal
Dr Zerrin Engin Bakkal is a graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry at Marmara University and has been in continuous clinical practice since 1995. She joined the GC Clinic team in 2026.
Her clinical focus is restorative dentistry (fillings, inlays and onlays, crowns), cosmetic bonding, preventive care and gum health; she carries out check-ups and maintenance protocols. Close to thirty years of experience means accuracy in diagnosis and avoiding unnecessary treatment.
Our founder
Prof. Dr. Semih Özbayrak
Prof. Dr. Semih Özbayrak founded GC Clinic in Nişantaşı in 1985 with his wife, Dr Zümrüt Özbayrak. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul University in 1972 and completed his doctorate in oral medicine at the Freie Universität Berlin in 1983. From 1986 to 2013 he headed the Department of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology at the Faculty of Dentistry of Marmara University for 27 years, becoming an Associate Professor in 1988 and a Professor in 1995.
Prof. Dr. Özbayrak no longer treats patients or carries out clinical procedures. The clinic he founded continues under the ownership and clinical directorship of Dr G. Cansu Öztürk, whom he mentored through her specialist training.
